(Fort Lauderdale, FL) Americans Against Hate (AAH) will be leading a protest against CAIR and “unindicted co-conspirator” of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, Siraj Wahhaj, Saturday night, March 6th, outside of the Broward County Convention Center, where the Florida chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Florida) will be holding its annual fundraising banquet.
AAH will call on Broward County to break its longstanding association with CAIR, due to what the group calls CAIR’s numerous ties to terrorism.
AAH Chairman Joe Kaufman stated, “Once again, Broward County is allowing this pro-terror extremist group to use the taxpayer-funded county convention center to host someone that the United States government claims was a party to a terrorist attack. It can only be inferred from this that the officials representing Broward are siding with and aiding America’s enemies.”
In the recent past, Broward has allowed CAIR access to Broward’s public school children, usage of Broward’s libraries, advertising on Broward’s public busses, a position on the Broward School Board Diversity Committee, a street sign in CAIR’s name, and usage of Broward’s convention center for a number of CAIR’s annual events.
At a previous protest against CAIR, at the same venue, AAH obtained film footage of a CAIR representative
stating his support for Hamas.
Speakers for AAH’s protest will be announced in the coming days.
