In November of 2002, Americans Against Hate Chairman Joe Kaufman wrote an
article entitled
'Jihad in Our Backyard.' The piece concerned a radical mosque located in Boca Raton, Florida and its numerous ties to
terrorism. Since its publishing, a Hamas-related charity connected to it was shut down, an Al-Qaeda operative who worshiped
there was taken into custody, a co-founder of the mosque was charged with sending sensitive military equipment to Syria,
and various officials from the institution have fled town.

Most if not all of this happened, because two people, Joe Kaufman and his then-colleague
Beila
Rabinowitz, had the will to expose a threat that resided in their community.
If two people can do so much, imagine what a hundred or a thousand can do. We need your help. If you are concerned
about the danger that is growing inside of the United States, under our government's and law enforcement's noses,
like us, you will do something about it.
Americans Against Hate needs you to make phone calls and write letters. We need you to attend meetings and be our
liaison to the local government and law enforcement in your area. We need you to get active and help us make a difference.
We need you to say, "NO JIHAD IN OUR BACKYARD!"
